These Palo Santo sticks come directly from South America to me. They are very fragrant and just beautiful pieces, I almost hate to burn them!
Here is some recent customer feedback about our Palo:
"Yay, just came today and I can smell the wood through the padded plastic envelope. I mean to give out sticks as birthday presents this month, I know a number of Aquarians. Thanks, so many people selling are selling fake stuff." - PM
:: A little about Palo Santo ::
It's name means "holy wood" and has been used as a deeply aromatic incense by the Incas and people of the Andes for centuries. Its purpose is to purify and cleanse, and to get rid of negative, stagnant energy and influences.
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens), is a wild tree native from Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula to Peru and Venezuela.
This tree belongs to the same family (Burseraceae) as frankincense and myrrh.
Palo Santo has a richly fragrant and woodsy scent whether it is burning or not. The longer it sits before it is harvested the richer and sweeter the smell is.
Use as a sacred incense or smudge for clearing negativity from within your home, office, car, etc. Burn this in your spiritual sacred spaces - yoga studio, meditation room, during magical workings, ceremony or to fill your home with the beautiful all-natural essence of this sacredly ancient wood.
Each stick is about 4 inches long and half an inch wide, this may vary since it is natural. You will receive one bundle of six palo santo sticks.
